How long are Diono convertible car seats good for?
Diono convertible car seats have a lifespan of up to 10 years. In harness mode, Diono car seats are approved for 8 years of use after purchase and 10 years in the booster mode.
How to install a Diono convertible car seat base
NOTE: this is not applicable to every Diono convertible car seat. Refer to your instruction manual. Only use the detachable base in the rear-facing position.
Make sure the restraint is locked in the unfolded position.
Check that the adjustable bottom is locked in its raised position.
Align the base at the proper placement, and insert the base into the restraint bottom.
Slide the base back until it's secured in place.
Push down on the metal tab to lock the base in place.

Make sure that the base is attached.
Place your car seat in the rear-facing position.
Unzip the side zipper and remove the connectors from the side panels. Click the red button to release your SuperLATCH.
Attach the SuperLATCH connectors to your vehicle's lower anchors.
Press down firmly on the car seat, and pull the SuperLATCH connector strap to tighten it.
Wiggle the car seat to ensure that it's installed securely.

Vehicle Seatbelt
Make sure the base is attached.
Place your car seat in your vehicle in the rear-facing position.
Thread your vehicle seatbelt through the rear-facing belt path and buckle it.
Press down firmly on the car seat, and pull on the vehicle seat belt to tighten it.
Wiggle your car seat to ensure that it's installed securely.

How to install Diono convertible car seat: forward-facing?
Thread your SuperLATCH through the forward-facing belt path.
Connect your SuperLATCH connectors to your vehicle's lower anchor points.
Press down firmly on your car seat and remove all of the excess slack from your SuperLATCH strap.
Attach your top tether to your vehicle's tether anchor. Tighten the tether to make sure it's snug.
Wiggle the car seat to ensure that it's installed securely.

Vehicle Seatbelt
Thread your vehicle seat belt through the forward-facing belt path and buckle it (make sure the seatbelt is in lock mode).
Press down firmly on the car seat, and pull the vehicle seatbelt to tighten it.
Attach your top tether to your vehicle's tether anchor. Tighten the tether to make sure it's snug.
Wiggle the car seat to ensure that it's installed securely.

How to remove the Diono convertible car seat from the base
Lift the metal tab to unlock the base.
Pull the base away from the restraint bottom.
Refer to the instruction manual mentioned above for a visual aid on how to remove the base from your Diono convertible car seat.
How to adjust straps on a Diono convertible car seat?
Place your child in the car seat.
Release all of the slack out of the harness.
Pull the harness adjuster strap to get a snug fit on your child.
Pinch the harness strap to ensure that it's tightened.
Adjust the harness covers.
Connect the chest clip, and make sure it's at armpit level.
